Oman, situated in West Asia, is known for its rich history and numerous archaeological sites. For Bangladeshi citizens, obtaining a visa is necessary to visit the country.
Although there is no Omani consulate in Bangladesh, with the closest one being in India, this does not pose an issue for visa applications. Bangladeshi nationals can apply for an Oman e-Visa, which eliminates the need for an in-person visit to the consulate.
Step 1: Collect the Required Documents
Applicants should gather all necessary documents before starting the e-Visa application process.
Make sure to follow the checklist and scan the documents clearly.
Ensure that all documents are accurately translated into English and notarized.
Step 2: Register an Account
Go to the Oman e-Visa portal to begin your application process.
Provide the necessary information to create an account for applying for your e-Visa.
Once registered, log in to the portal and start your Oman e-Visa application.
Step 3: Fill Out the Application Form
Select your desired visa type and complete the Oman e-Visa application form carefully.
Upload all the required documents in jpg format.
Double-check all the information provided before submitting it online.
Once you are certain that all the details are accurate, submit your application.
Step 4: Pay Your Visa Fees
Once the visa application is completed, it will undergo three levels of review by the authorities.
Before the final submission, the payment portal will open.
Applicants can pay the visa fees securely through online transactions.
Only credit cards are accepted for Bangladeshi citizens.
After successfully making the payment, submit your visa application.
Step 5: Collect Your Visa
After completing all the formalities, wait for the decision on your Oman visa.
Oman Immigration will update the visa status in their portal.
Applicants should download and print a copy of their visa.
Carry the printed visa copy while traveling to Oman.
