Passport:

Original passport with validity of the visa mark at least six months after the expected departure date and at least two blank pages.

• Copy of past passports and given visas.
• Connect all (if any) your old passports.
• If any visa application was rejected, it would be better to include the details of the original letter provided by the authorities in that country.

Germany Visa Application Form:

The applicant must complete and sign the visa application form.

Photo Specification:

Two recent matt or semi-matt pictures of passport size, 60-80 percent face cover, white background and no borders (size: 35 mm x 45 mm).

Please note: Photos should be scanned/stapled not older than 3 months and should not be used in any of the preceding visas.

Covering-Letter:

cover letter from the applicant’s name, designation, number of the passport, intent, and who is responsible for full travel costs – travel, lodging, expenses, etc. Open to – The Visa Officer, German Embassy, Dhaka.

Schengen visa (Short-term visa for business trips, visits of family or friends and tourist purposes)

If you are a national of Bangladesh and want to travel to Germany for business trips, visits of family or friends, and tourist purposes, you need a short-term Schengen visa. For applications, you are kindly requested to make an appointment at the German Embassy in Dhaka. If all your documents are correct and complete, a decision on your visa application can usually be made within seven days after the appointment.
