Student Visa Requirement

This is a simple Netherlands student visa application checklist who want to study in Netherlands from Bangladesh. Necessary documents depending on the profile of the student. BICAVS gives you full support for your visa application.

Passport:

Your passport and copies of your previous visas are required-valid for at least 3 months after the date of return. You must have at least two blank pages of your passport. Please click here if you wish to get a passport.

Visa Application Form:

You will register online. In that case, you electronically download the records.

Photo Specification:

The pictures must be in color and have the regular size of the passport photo, which is 35 mm X 45 mm not older than 6 months.

Covering-Letter:

Cover letter detailing applicant information, passport details, travel details and specifics of who will bear expenses.

Confirmation of Enrolment:

Admission statement or acceptance letter stating you were accepted to a full-time course of studies.

Tuition Fees Payment Receipt:

A receipt of payment is proof of payment that you made to the organization.

Academic Documents:

Please forward all your academic documents to Embassy / VAC

Financials:

Evidence of financial means for the time of your studies to cover costs.

Health Insurance:

Evidence of the full duration of research coverage by health insurance.

Birth Certificate:

Visa information:

You may need a Schengen visa if you wish to remain in the Netherlands for up to 90 days. As of 1 June 2012, the Kingdom of the Netherlands embassy will no longer grant Schengen visas. Travellers who intend to visit the Netherlands or Belgium for a visit in less than three months may apply for a Schengen visa through the Swedish Visa Application Center at the Swedish Embassy in Dhaka.

The Swedish embassy has a schedule of appointments. You are expected to visit the following external service provider (not applicable to online applications) to get an appointment.

If you cannot or do not want to apply online, you can submit your application documents in person at the Swedish Embassy according to the appointment you have received from the external service provider, VFS (not applicable for online applications). Long term visa (more than 3 months, i.e. work, study) can still be applied for at the Netherlands Embassy in Dhaka.
