Passport:

Original passport is valid for travel to the United States and valid for at least 06 months after your intended period of stay in the United States. If you would like a passport, please click here.

Visa Application Form:

Non-Immigrant Visa Electronic Application Form (DS-160).

Photo Specification:

One (1) 2″x2 “(5 cm x 5 cm) photograph taken in the last six months.

Confirmation of Enrollment:

Original letter from the University or Recognized Education Institution confirming admission and duration of the course.

Tuition Fees Payment Receipt:

The receipt of payment is proof of payment that you have made to the organization.

Academic Documents:

Please send all your academic papers to the Embassy / VAC.

Financials Means:

Evidence of financial resources to offset the expense of your studies.

Health Assessment:

You must evaluate your health at the recognized medical center of the U.S. Embassy.

Birth Certificate:

Qualification requirements

Passport is valid for six months after your planned stay in the United States. Children must have a visa issued on an individual basis, even though they are on a parent’s passport. Visitor visa applicants must demonstrate that they qualify under the terms of the Immigration and Nationality Act. Applicants must show that they are properly identified as tourists under U.S. law.

The presumption in the law is that any visitor who applies for a visa is an intending immigrant. Visitor visa applicants must also resolve this assumption by demonstrating:

That the object of their trip is to reach the United States for company, leisure, or medical treatment;

That they intend to continue for a short period of time;

Evidence of funds to cover spending in the United States;

Evidence of strong social and economic links abroad;

That they have a home outside the United States as well as other contractual links that will guarantee their return abroad at the end of the tour.

A visitor visa is a form of non-immigrant visa for persons wishing to enter the United States temporarily for business (B-1) or pleasure, travel or medical care (B-2).
