Diplomatic/Official Visa Requirement

Passport:

Original Passport valid for at least six months after the date of departure and at least two blank pages for the visa stamp.

• Copy of past passports and visas issued.
• Connect all of your existing passports (if any).
• If a request for a visa had been rejected, specifics of the original letter issued by the authorities of that country would be preferred.

Swedish Visa Application Form:

The visa application form must be completed and signed by the applicant.

Specification of photos:

Two recent passport size images with matt or semi-matt finish, 60-80 percent face coverage, white background and no border (Size: 35 mm x 45 mm)

Note: Images should be no longer than 3 months old, scanned/stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas.

Covering-Letter:

Letter covering the applicant’s name, designation, passport number, intent and description which will be responsible for the full cost of the trip – transport, lodging, expenses, etc. Addressed to – Visa Officer, Swedish Embassy, Dhaka.

Letter of invitation:

(If there is any)

Forwarding-Letter:

• Letter / NOC forwarding from the applicant’s company authority to the company’s letterhead specifying the applicant’s name, designation, passport number, intent and length of the visit.
• Visa request letter from the educational institution or student card/proof of school enrolment (if student)

Evidence of employment:

• Certificate of registration of the company (original notarized English translated and photocopy of the original) if the applicant is a first-time traveller or owner.
• Print and Visiting Card Office ID.

Financials:

• Company or Personal Bank Statement The name of the bank, Bank’s Telephone Number, has been clearly stated over the last six months.
• Salary slip for the last six months. (If there is any)

For tourist or Short visit visa for Sweden, the Schengen visa is granted. VFS Global will receive Schengen visa applications on behalf of the Embassy of Sweden at the following location:
