Step 1: Identify Your Norway Visa Type
Visit the Denmark Visa Application Center website and select your Norway visa category. Different visa categories require different documents, so choosing the correct visa type is crucial. An incorrect selection can significantly alter the application process.
Step 2: Fill Out The Norway Visa Application Form
After selecting your visa type, complete Norway’s online visa application form. For a short-term visa, fill out the form on the “Apply Visa” page, then download and print it. For a long-term visa, download the form first, then fill it out and print it.
Step 3: Pay Your Visa Fee
Pay the Norway visa fee online while filling out the application form. Print the payment receipt, as you will need to submit it at the Denmark Visa Application Center. Additionally, a service fee must be paid at the Visa Application Center.
Step 4: Organize Your Documents
Collect all required documents as per the checklist. Translate them into English and notarize them.
Step 5: Submit Your Visa Application and Provide Biometrics
No appointment is needed to submit a Norway visa application. Submit your completed application in person at the Denmark Visa Application Center in Dhaka, where you will also provide your biometrics.
Step 6: Collect Your Passport
Wait for the visa decision. Once the decision is made, collect your passport in person from the Visa Application Center.

To apply for a Norway visa from Bangladesh, you must manage the visa fee beforehand for online transactions. If you fail to pay on time, you cannot proceed with your Norway visa application. Knowing the visa fees in advance can help reduce any hassle. The short-term Norway visa fee is BDT 9,500, while the long-term Norway visa fee is BDT 27,450. Additionally, there will be an extra fee for the Visa Application Center that will be added to your application.
The processing time for both short-term and long-term Norway visas ranges from 15 to 45 working days. If your documents do not require detailed examination, you should receive your visa decision within this timeframe. However, it is advisable to apply well in advance to allow for any potential delays.
