Document Requirements

Step 1: Complete the US Visa Application Online
Access the US visa application portal to fill out the DS-160 form. Ensure all required information is accurately provided, as errors can lead to complications or rejection.

Step 2: Pay Your US Visa Fee
In Bangladesh, US visa fees are processed by Eastern Bank Limited (EBL). Applicants can visit any EBL branch or pay online. First, create a CGI Federal profile and generate an invoice with the correct visa category. For branch payments, bring a printed copy of the invoice and your passport. Existing EBL account holders can pay online through the Sky Banking app. Note that debit or credit card payments are not accepted.

Step 3: Schedule an Appointment
After paying the visa fees, visit the "Apply For A US Visa" website to schedule an appointment. An appointment request cannot be made before the visa fees are paid.

Step 4: Gather Documents for the US
Collect all necessary documents, organize them, and translate them into English. Notarize the translated documents and bring them to the interview at the US Embassy.

Step 5: Submit Your Biometrics
Provide your biometrics at the US Embassy in Bangladesh on the day of your interview.

Step 6: Await the Visa Decision
Once the US visa application is complete, wait for the decision. Collect your passport after the decision is made.
