Business Visa Requirement

• The applicant must properly complete and sign the application for a visa. A recent illustration of the passport size to be added to the application form. Click here to download the visa application form. The passport has to be valid for a minimum time of six months from the Cyprus entry date. Previous passports may also be appropriate.

• Return tickets confirmed or forward along with a duplicate.

• cover letters describing the reason for your trip to Cyprus (i.e. subject matter, time of flight, air ticket sponsorship, expenses of travel).

• hotel confirmation in Cyprus regarding a reservation made in respect of the request. The confirmation must be faxed from the hotel itself to the High Commission.

• Sufficient funds (with original receipt & copy) must be endorsed for a visa, at least Euro 2,000, for a stay of fifteen days in Cyprus. The approval should apply to Cyprus as the destination country. (Print with the declaration of overseas credit cards, traveler’s checks, foreign exchange, initial and reproduction of pay certificates and tax return).

• Individual bank accounts for the past six months along with the initial bank certificate.

• A comprehensive employer/company letter verifying the applicant’s job status.

• Initial business records, i.e. Chamber of Commerce and Industry certificates.

• The business partner in Cyprus must send a formal letter of invitation (with details) to the High Commission of Cyprus.

Tourist Visa Requirement

• Applications file in person shall be submitted. For those residing more than 200 miles (300 km) from the Consulate, however, applications can be sent by a registered courier with a registered automatic special delivery envelope to ensure that the passport and the documents are safely returned.

• one completed application form with two passport images attached, signed by the applicant(or legal guardian in the case of minors). Click here to download the visa application form.

• A full national passport is valid for at least three months longer than the visa available. Visitors wishing to obtain a visa shall be required to have a passport valid for at least 6 months after the stated date of stay.

• The return country visa shall be valid for at least three months after the planned duration of stay.

• Provisional travel arrangements books or itinerary (Round trip tickets with set dates) is mandatory. 6. 6. Before the visa is released, tickets should not be purchased.

• Advance reservation by the Hotel Manager via fax.

• In case of visiting friends or relatives, please write them with the address, the telephone number and the Cyprus occupation (and always, along with a certified PDF Duty Assumption, properly completed and signed by the host).

• Solid proof of the existence of appropriate funds for covering the costs of the planned stay in Cyprus such as a bank statement or checks for travellers (credit-cards may only be approved in addition to bank statements and only with the latest credit confirmation statement.

The Consulate can also order the host to obtain a copy of a bank guarantee letter during a visitor’s stay in Cyprus to cover the future expenses for repatriation. Bank Guarantee Letters shall be issued for: £ 500 for Bangladesh tourists
